A zinc deficiency may result in various symptoms, such as scaly skin conditions, hair loss, delayed wound healing, and an impaired sense of taste or smell. It may be caused by an unbalanced or inadequate diet or by an increased requirement for zinc, for example after operations or injuries, or during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Zink Biomed 10 is a medicinal product with 10 mg zinc per film-coated tablet, which can be used to support the immune system, in the event of an increased zinc requirement, or when there is a high risk of deficiency.
