Digestion

From a biological perspective, the digestive tract is outside the body. Nutrients only actually enter the body when they are absorbed through the intestinal wall.

Digestion

The digestive system is responsible for breaking down the food we eat, digesting it, and absorbing the nutrients that it contains. The stomach and intestine work closely together during this process. If this interaction becomes imbalanced, various complaints may occur.

Typical digestive problems include a feeling of fullness, belching, flatulence, and acid-related complaints such as heartburn. These symptoms often occur after eating lavish or high-fat meals, irregular eating, or as a result of stress.

Depending on the nature and severity of the complaints, targeted support with medication may be useful.
